Based on Beita Municipality’s commitment to providing a safe and motivating educational environment, the municipality implemented an integrated program for the maintenance and development of the town’s schools.
This program included improving infrastructure and enhancing safety standards and basic services, in a manner that ensures a healthy educational environment that supports the stability and sustainability of the educational process.
Maintenance and development works were distributed across the following areas:
1. General Maintenance and Buildings:
- Implementation of periodic and comprehensive maintenance works for all schools.
- Maintenance of classrooms at Beita Girls’ Secondary School.
- Construction of fences for Beita Boys’ Secondary School.
- Rehabilitation and asphalt paving of the yard at Beita Girls’ Secondary School.
2. Safety and Protection:
- Installation of handrails and protective barriers at Al-Salam School to enhance general safety measures for students.
3. Water and Sanitary Units:
- Replacement of water tanks from metal to plastic at Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum School.
- Maintenance and replacement of water tanks in all schools.
- Construction of a new sanitary unit at Beita Girls’ Secondary School.
4. Electricity and Lighting:
- Implementation of full maintenance of electrical networks in all schools.
- Implementation of comprehensive lighting works at Beita Coeducational Basic School.
5. School Facilities and Services:
- Replacement of drinking fountains at Beita Girls’ Secondary School.
