Beita Youth Foundation

Beita Sports Club is a sports and social institution located in the town of Beita, Nablus Governorate. It is considered one of the local sports facilities that serve youth and residents through various sports and community activities in the town. The club is a designated venue for multiple sports activities within the local community and contributes to revitalizing sports movement in Beita.

The club is used as a center for sports, cultural, and social activities among the town’s residents, and is regarded as one of the important public service facilities in Beita.

Activities and Events of Beita Sports Club :

1. Local Football Matches and Activities

•  The club participates in organizing football matches against teams from other areas and takes part in local tournaments across the West Bank, such as the match between Beita Sports Club and Salem Sports Club held at the municipal stadium.
•  The club also organizes football activities and training sessions specifically for children and youth.

2. Social and Community Solidarity Activities

 The club’s role is not limited to sports; it also carries out various community and service-oriented activities, including :

• Distributing olive seedlings to the families of prisoners in the town of Beita as a humanitarian and solidarity initiative. The seedlings were distributed along with the Palestinian flag and signs bearing the names of the prisoners, to strengthen solidarity and community support.
• Hosting important community events and figures, such as welcoming released prisoners upon their return, and sharing significant moments with the community within the club premises.

3. Open Days and Activities for Children and Persons with Disabilities

 As part of its social role, Beita Sports Club organized activities for children, including :

• Ten open days for children, with two special days dedicated to persons with disabilities, in cooperation with Beita Municipality. These activities aimed to provide recreation and relieve psychological stress on children, especially after years marked by challenges and educational disruptions.

4. Organizational Management and Elections

 The club carries out periodic administrative and sports-related activities, including :

• Annual or periodic elections of the Board of Directors, attended by representatives of the Higher Council for Youth and Sports in Nablus. These elections include the presentation of financial and administrative reports and the setting of the club’s priorities at both the sports and community levels.

Beita Sports Club serves as a beacon for youth and residents in the town of Beita, combining sports activities with community service. Its role extends beyond training players and developing physical skills to providing a space for social interaction, solidarity, and the promotion of positive values within the community. Through its activities and programs, the club contributes to building a healthy and aware generation and strengthens collective spirit and belonging to the local community.
