About Beita

Beita Town is a Palestinian town belonging to the Nablus Governorate. It is located to the southeast of the city of Nablus, about 13 km away. It is bordered to the east by the villages of Osarin and Aqraba, to the west by the village of Huwara and the Beita–Nablus road, to the north by the villages of Awarta and Odala, and to the south by the villages of Qabalan and Yatma.

Beita is considered one of the largest Palestinian towns in the southern Nablus area. Its lands, consisting of highlands interspersed with many valleys, cover about 18,000 dunums, most of which are agricultural lands rich with olive and almond trees. The town’s elevation ranges between 500–700 meters above sea level.

About 90% of Beita’s lands fall within Area B classifications, while 10% are within Area C. The town is part of the cluster of towns and villages in the southeastern Nablus Governorate.
